HIGH Fitness at East Village If you’ve had to miss a workout due to Stampeding, come check out HIGH fitness on your lunch break. This fun and energetic aerobics class will leave you feeling energized for the weekend.

Broken Spoke Ride Calgary’s other 10 day festival, Cyclepalooza kicks off today. There’s a host of different bike events run by different volunteer hosts, so check their website for more. This ride is a gentle slow ride, good for anybody coming back from injury or a long break biking. Ends at the Inglewood Night Market. Peace Bridge 6:30pm-7:30pm

July 13

Bowmount Park Race Three Take part in an in city trail run.6.2km and 11.5km courses available. The scenic course includes a small waterfall and geological formations. Food, a swag item and a pottery medal are included and there are awards for the top 3 finishers in each age group. Baker Park 10am-12pm

Anytime Fitness Haysboro Stampede Breakfast Instead of the usual pancakes, Haysboro will be serving up protein pancakes. Afterwards you can join in on an outdoor group training session. Anytime Fitness Haysboro 8am-12pm

Vulcan Mega Bounce Run If you want to take a road trip, head to Vulcan and take part in a 5km course with 9 fun inflatable obstacles. Registration includes medallion and swag item. Vulcan Arena 10am-12pm $70

Burbs-by-Nite Explore Calgary’s suburbs at night. You’ll bike 40kms through Fish Creek Park and the surrounding suburbs. You have the option to shorten your route and end it at 30km or extend it by biking back downtown. Peace Bridge 7:45pm

July 14

Lifecycle Brunch Ride Make brunch even better by biking to brunch. The route will have two moderately sized hills and end at Brekkie in West Springs. All are welcome. Lifecycle 9am

KCPO SUP Cup If you love stand up paddleboarding, try competing in this 200m race. Inflatable and non inflatable categories available with snacks, medals and prizes. Quarry Lake Park, Canmore 9am

En Blanc a Velo Dress in your best white clothes and head out for a picnic on your bike. Picnic will be held at the lovel Central Memorial Park and there will also be live music. All the fun of diner en blanc without all the fuss. Simmons Building 12pm

Tails and Treasures Have a fun day with your dog. There’ll be a treasure hunt for you and your dog to do some exploring and there’ll also be photo booths and entertainment. University District 1pm-5pm

July 16

Warrior Ride Biking and yoga are a great combination. Starting in Bridgeland you’ll bike along the pathway to another park to do some yoga. Ride and yoga are family friendly. MacDougall Park 6:15pm

July 18

Stamps Bike Tailgate Party You don’t need a car to tailgate and cheer on the Stamps. Ride your bike to the stadium and enjoy some tailgating with other bikers before the game and at halftime. Ride leaders will be in some quadrants of the city so you can bike as a group. McMahon Stadium 5pm-10pm

The Yoga Social Take part in an outdoor yoga class put on by Luluemon. After the one hour class you’ll get a treat and time to connect. CSpace King Edward 6pm-8pm

July 19

Yoga and Movie Night If yoga and a movie are your idea of a good night out, don’t miss this. You’ll enjoy rooftop yoga followed by an outdoor movie. Tickets include popcorn and seasonings. Junction 9 7pm $30

Full Moon Bike Ride Go for a fun night ride, ending off with a BBQ at Sandy Beach. Reworks 7pm

July 21 Tour de Purple


Yoga Santosha and Made by Marcus are pairing up for the month of July. You can take your Made by Marcus receipt for a free yoga class and Yoga Santosha members can get 10% off ice cream.
