Bike to Work Day While it may be a bit chilly, there’s currently no snow or rain forecast for Friday. There’ll be a free pancake breakfast set up at Eau Claire, various pit stops where you can get a tuneup and snacks and a chance to win a bike. 6am-9am

Free Community Yoga Take part in a yoga class combining passive and active styles with a gong meditation to close. Simply Yoga 6:15pm-7:15pm

Jane’s Walks Explore Calgary through someone else’s eyes on a Jane’s Walk. Walks span various themes and are all around the city. Walks run at various times until Sunday evening. Make sure to check for weather cancellations. Check out our top picks here if you can’t decide on a walk.

MEC Calgary Trail Race One Take part in a 5km, 10km or 15km trail run with lots of elevation. Medals for top finishers. Wintergreen Ski Hill 9am-11am $20-$30

Eyeball the Wall Take part in a 15km or 30km run around the reservoir. Finisher’s medals included. South Glenmore Reservoir 9am/9:30am start $40-$45

Adaptive Multisport Program In the adaptive multisport program you can try a new sport every week. This week participants will play wheelchair rugby. This program is for those with or without disabilities and is for all ages and abilities. Winsport 2:30pm-4:30pm

Sharing Dance Come learn this year’s Sharing Dance, a dance created to be performed across Canada by everyone. Kids are welcome. Wildflower Arts Centre 3:30pm-4:30pm

Get Shit Done Run While the half marathon is sold out there’s still spots in the 10km run. There will be cookies, medals and a finisher’s certificate. Edworthy Park 9am $45

Hike For Hospice Take part in a 5km walk to raise money for Hospice Calgary. There will be a kid’s area, a dog area, refreshments and entertainment. Fish Creek Park 9amP

Calgary Climbing Centre Chinook Climbing Competition Take part in a fun bouldering competition. There will be problems of all grades set up and a recreational and advanced division. Free Fitness at the Core Mommy and Me Yoga If you want to get some yoga in with your kiddos for Mother’s Day head to Devonian Gardens and enjoy a yoga class with your kiddo. 11am-12pm

Mother’s Day Run and Walk The mother’s day run and walk is one of the biggest walk/run events in Calgary. Runners, walkers, wheelchairs and handcyclists are welcome and with 5km and 10km options it’s a great option for the whole family. Proceeds go to the NICU and Jumpstart. All participants will receive a medal and swag item. Chinook 9am-11am $45-$55
